Sell your home yourself
Sell your home yourself in Australia. Keep the commission.
List free, reach buyers directly, and keep what an agent would take. The same tools, the same buyers, no commission. Anywhere in Australia.
Choose your state
How it works
Three steps. You do the selling, we do the rest.
1
List free
Photos, a map, your price or a narrow range, the facts and your own words. Public on the FIND:HOME portal, or quiet and shown only to people you invite. List anywhere in Australia. Contracts of sale are NSW only. Your own conveyancer or solicitor prepares it.
2
Meet buyers
Buyers write to you through the listing and book inspections on your calendar. Buyer profiles tell you who is looking, and a Verified Buyer badge means FIND:HOME has sighted finance evidence.
3
Keep the commission
An agent takes around 2% of the price. Sell it yourself and that stays with you. FIND:HOME's fee is fixed, written into the contract, and paid only only if your buyer comes through FIND:HOME.
What's free, what costs
Fixed. Up front. Only when it works.

Example based on 2% commission on a $1,200,000 sale. Commission rates vary by agent and area, and yours will differ. Marketing costs are usually extra. FIND:HOME is not a licensed real estate agency and does not act for you in the sale.
The state guides
What has to be in place, state by state
Each state has its own rules on what a seller must have in place before advertising, who prepares the contract, cooling-off and settlement. Pick your state above and the guide for it appears here.
What an agent would cost you
The number, before you sign anything.
Choose your state and type the price you expect, and the figures appear as you type. Nothing is gated.
What has an agent quoted you?
Optional. Helps us keep this accurate. Never required, never shown with your name.
Enter a NSW postcode and an expected sale price. The comparison appears here as you type, and nothing is gated.

Who is behind this
One founder, one promise.
A note from Hugo
I built FIND:HOME because the portals' agents-only rule keeps a seller from reaching buyers without paying a commission that has nothing to do with the work. Your listing is free anywhere in Australia, buyers write to you directly, and you keep what an agent would have taken. If you get stuck, reply to any email from me and I answer it myself.

Straight answers
The questions every seller asks.
What does it cost?+
Listing is free anywhere in Australia: the photos, the map, the buyers, the enquiries and the inspections. There is no commission.
FIND:HOME's success fee is $1,990, only if your buyer comes through FIND:HOME. It is written into the contract and paid from the proceeds. No sale through FIND:HOME, no fee.
List anywhere in Australia. Contracts of sale are NSW only. Your own conveyancer or solicitor prepares it, as they would with an agent.
Is it legal to sell my own home here?+
Owners sell their own homes in every state and territory. The agent licensing laws are about people who act for others, not about you selling your own property.
What has to be in place differs by state: pick yours above and the guide for it sets out the steps with the official sources.
How do I deal with buyers?+
Buyers write to you through the listing. You see their profile, you reply in your own words (a reply helper drafts it, you send it), and they book inspections on your calendar: a slot, your confirmation, nobody turning up unannounced.
A Verified Buyer badge means FIND:HOME has sighted the buyer's finance evidence. Offers go through your conveyancer or solicitor the same way they would with an agent.
How do I tell lookers from real buyers?+
Buyer profiles show what someone is looking for and whether they are verified. Inspections are booked, not open: you decide who comes and when.
Ask the questions an agent would ask. Have they sold, is finance approved, what is their timing. A real buyer answers; a looker drifts.
How does my listing get seen?+
Your listing is public on the FIND:HOME portal and findable by search engines, with a map and the facts buyers search on. One button posts it to Facebook, a group or WhatsApp, and a signboard and a flyer carry the same link.
The big portals only take listings from licensed agents, so an owner cannot list there directly. FIND:HOME is built for owners, and buyers looking for owner-listed homes find them here.
What if I want an agent later?+
Nothing stops you. There is no lock-in and no exclusive period. If you decide an agent is worth the commission for your sale, take the listing down or leave it up beside the agent's; FIND:HOME charges nothing for a sale that does not come through it.
